We make all the parts and bring them ready to assemble, final tune, finish and string up. 10 is an ideal number of these to complete in a three hour open workshop, with one work table per instrument. These are about a yard long, with 15 notes each, and require the most of a day to be assembled, with two participants per instrument and a limit of 7 instruments total. Sponsor provides space and a work table for each instrume

2 day event with some parts pre-made, depending on the instrument. Based on our popular workshops in Bellingham, WA with 7-8 participants, mostly adults and a couple kids, 12 and above. Requires ample space (approx 1000 sq ft) and resources . Cost is the regular price of the instrument plus $350 instructional fee.

A day of 45 minute (more or less) presentations/demonstrations on how marimbas produce sound, with student participation, including a bit of music playing. A set of school marimbas is required, can be held in a class or auditorium. $350 per half day visit. We can also combine this session with any of the other building workshops.
